Cause and prevention of tire damage of four-wheel tractor
Cause and prevention of tire damage of four-wheel tractor
Author:Dekenag Alice
Compared with large and medium sized rubber-tyred tractors, the service life of their tires is much shorter. However, the tires produced at present are basically the same in terms of the general performance of their materials, except for special purposes. This is mainly determined by its characteristics. It is very necessary for agricultural technicians to understand the characteristics of small four wheels and take corresponding preventive measures.
I. main features
1. Structural features. Most of the driving wheel of small-size 4-wheel tractors are set in the structure of axle shaft flange way driving wheel, wheel base adjustment is limited by a lot of poor and adapt to the characteristics of the pavement of regulatory especially in large and medium-sized tractor drown deep furrows on or on ridge along the direction of corrugation homework often is in a state of "squeeze tire" exacerbated the tyre wear.
2. Usage features. Because the small four-wheel tractor is small in size and light in weight, it is easy to operate in a wide range and has great mobility. The poor working environment in which the projects are located increases the chances of friction, compression, impact and erosion. Under load capacity is always under load. The small size and ease of operation make it possible for people who do not know the maintenance technology to also operate the operator to fail to timely find out the signs of tire damage and it is difficult to guarantee that the tire is working in good condition.
3. Management features. Small four-wheel tractors are basically all individuals without a top-down management system. The operators only use them without paying attention to maintenance.
Ⅱ.Preventive measures
1. Regularly check the technical status of the parts related to the tire, such as the wheel ring, tie bar and wheel body (generally referring to the front wheel body, etc.). The technical status of the parts that have a significant impact on the tire, such as the semi-axle, front axle, frame and bearing of the travel mechanism, should also be checked frequently. If any problem is found, it should be adjusted and repaired in time.
2. Avoid contact with kerosene, diesel oil, strong acid, strong alkali and high temperature objects.
3. Choose the road suitable for the tread of small four-wheel tractor as far as possible.
4. If a job is done continuously for a long time, the mounting state and type of tire should be adjusted timely as required.
5. Avoid tire pressure on objects prone to instrument damage, such as iron filings, punctures, and broken glass.
6. Use counterweights properly. The counterweight should be increased in field traction operation. In the road transport should reduce the weight. Also do not sit on the drive wheel fender or carry other heavy weights.
7. Control the air pressure in the tire. Four-wheel tyre should not be short of gas (field work can be slightly lower road transport should be more adequate). For a longer period of fixed operation, it is better to put up the frame so that the tire is not subjected to or less the force of gravity of the locomotive. At this time, the pressure in the tire can be retained to the normal working pressure and the ground position of the tire can be replaced regularly. When parking for a long time, you should put up the frame so that the tire is completely off the ground to release the air in the tire or keep the normal working air pressure less than 1/5.
8. When driving in hilly areas or mountainous areas, the pressure of the tire on the ground is reduced due to the upper and lower slopes. The relative sliding of the tire on the ground tends to aggravate the wear of the tire. In such cases, the anti-skid chain can be added, and when the anti-skid chain cannot be added, the counterweight of the driving wheel can be appropriately increased or the traction load can be appropriately reduced.
9. It should be repaired as soon as serious instrument damage is found. When the tire pattern wear is serious, it should be sent to the repair department for renovation.
10. Change the position of the left and right tires so that the tires will wear evenly if regular eccentric wear occurs due to long-term operation.
