1. What is Disc Harrow?

2. Disc Harrow Working Parts

The concave disc is a set of turns that are mounted on the shaft in a distance.

The concave surface of the disc is generally spherical, and some countries also use a tapered surface. The disc has two kinds of full edge and notched edge. The former is simple to manufacture and easy to sharpen. The latter has strong earth-moving ability, which is good for chopping clods and residual weeds, and is used in heavy rafts for heavy soil cultivation. The size of the cymbals in each country has been standardized and has international standards. The material of the cymbal is generally made of wear-resistant 65Mn steel or low-carbon martensitic B5 steel.

The center hole of the disc disc is generally a square hole, which is separated by an inter-tube. The crotch piece and the inter-tube are sleeved on the square shaft and locked by a nut to form a crucible group.

3. Disc Harrow Working Principle

When working, the plane of the disc edge is perpendicular to the ground and is at an angle to the direction of advancement. Each set is supported by bearings on the frame. During the operation, under the action of tractor traction and soil reaction force, each cymbal of the cymbal group rolls along with the same axis. Under the action of its own gravity, the blade edge cuts into the soil, cuts the grass roots or crop residues, cuts the ploughed rafters, and makes the soil sag slightly along the concave surface of the slab, then falls down, with certain tumbling and covering. effect. The yaw angle of the group can be adjusted, and the adjustment range is generally 0° to 30°, and the common yaw angle is 10° to 25°. Increasing the declination can increase the depth of the slab and the effect of turning soil and soil, and the resistance increases.
